Quraniya ("the app") is a Progressive Web App for reading the Quran. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it uses it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

The app is designed to be privacy-friendly. It does not require an account, and we do not collect personal data:

• Local preferences — theme, language, translation choice, bookmarks, and reading progress are stored only in your browser's localStorage.
• Offline data — previously-read surahs are cached by the service worker on your device for offline use.
• Audio streaming — murrotal audio is streamed directly from a third-party host (EveryAyah); your IP may be visible to that host when you play audio online.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide online features, the app may connect to third-party services:

• EveryAyah — streaming murrotal audio.
• AlQuran.cloud — optional on-demand quran translations.
• SPA5K — optional on-demand tafsir translations.

These services may process technical data such as IP addresses and device characteristics. We recommend reviewing their own privacy policies.

4. No Tracking & No Analytics

Quraniya does not use advertising, tracking pixels, or analytics SDKs. It does not sell or share your data.

5. Your Choice

You may clear all local data (bookmarks, settings, cached translations) at any time by clearing your browser site data for this app. No remote account data exists to delete.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected here. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
